Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 October 2026
Huesia is a product in development. On this website we collect only two things: the email addresses of people who join our waitlist, and the messages people send us. This policy explains what we do with them.
It applies to visitors from anywhere in the world and follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and US state privacy laws where they apply.
1. Who is responsible
Huesia, Switzerland
info@huesia.com
Write to this address for any question about your data.
2. What we collect
- Waitlist
- Your email address and the date you signed up. When you receive our emails, our email provider also records whether an email was opened and which links were clicked.
- Contact form
- Your name, email address and message.
- Website visits
- Our hosting provider automatically records technical data when you load a page: IP address, browser, device type, pages visited and time of access.
We do not collect postal addresses, phone numbers or payment details, and we do not use cookies or tracking tools on this website. The open and click data from our emails only helps us understand which news interests you; it is never used for advertising.
3. Why we use it
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Telling you when Huesia launches, and sending occasional news about the project | Your consent, given when you join the waitlist |
| Answering your message | Our legitimate interest in replying to you |
| Delivering the website and keeping it secure | Our legitimate interest in a reliable, secure service |
We never sell your data or share it for anyone else’s marketing or for targeted advertising. This includes residents of California and other US states. We do not make automated decisions about you.
4. Who processes it for us
We use a small number of service providers. They may only use your data to provide their service to us.
- Website hosting: Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc.)
- Waitlist and launch emails: Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France)
- Contact form: Formspree (Formspree, Inc.)
- Email inbox: Namecheap Private Email (Namecheap, Inc.)
Our providers store data in the United States and the European Union. Transfers to the United States are protected by the Swiss–US or EU–US Data Privacy Framework, or by Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and recognised in Switzerland.
5. How long we keep it
- Waitlist email: until you unsubscribe, or 12 months after launch at the latest.
- Messages: up to 12 months after your request has been dealt with.
- Server logs: up to 30 days.
6. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or send it to you in a portable format. You can object to its use and withdraw your consent; every launch email has an unsubscribe link. Write to info@huesia.com and we will reply within 30 days.
If you think we have not handled your data correctly, you can complain to a data protection authority: the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) in Switzerland, the authority in your country in the EU, or the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK.
7. Children
This website is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
8. Changes
We will update this policy when we start selling, add new features or use new providers. The date at the top always shows the current version.
